Hi loves! Guess what product I'm going to share to you today? Yay! It's Benton's new sunscreen product Papaya-D Sun Cream! Recently Benton is looking for a product testers in Instagram to test this sun cream and I'm lucky to be choosen as one of the testers. It's a perfect time 'cause I'm planning to buy a new sunscreen and now I don't need to buy one. They send it via DHL Express delivery which reach me 3days after they notified me.

Brand Talk

"Benton" is inspired and named after the movie 'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button' in which Benjamin Button grows younger with time. In the movie, Benjamin has no choice but to leave his love,Daisy as he becomes younger. What if Daisy could also turn back time on her physical appearance, wouldn't she be happier?

It may just be a fictional movie, but wouldn't most people have the same desire to be young again? Benton's desires to restore your skin back to it's original, healthy condition with healthy recipes, rather than to give temporary effects with harmful ingredients. Also, Benton presents freshly made products by sticking to small batch production.

Benton's Papaya-D Sun Cream is Benton's first ever suncream made up of physical &chemical sunscreen agent that has SPF 38/PA+++. Designed for daily use to protect skin from everyday UVs. Papaya contains various vitamins and nutrients that help keep skin moist and vibrant. Makes it a sun protection and better complexion at the same time. Effectively protects skin from everyday UVs and external stressors

Notable Ingredients:
Carica Papaya Fruit Water(55%)/Papaya Fruit Extract- it is said that Christopher Columbus was so impressed by Papaya's taste and called it 'the fruit of the angels' it's rich in vitamins and contains polyphenols, mineral and papain. Such components help to keep skin healthy and beautiful.
Carica Papaya Seed Oil-extracted from the seed of the papaya, Papaya Seed Oil helps to make skin supple and smooth. Also, the oil helps skin to retain moisture.
Papain-is a protease obtained from the papaya. It is effective in pore care, controlling sebum and dead skin cells.
Also,it contains niacinamide and adenosine, which help to achieve a bright and smooth complexion.

Recommended for following skin types:

  • Skin exposed to various UVs
  • Dull skin lacking suppleness
  • Skin that wants a moist sunscreen
  • Skin that wants protection against both UVA and UVB rays
  • Skin that wants a sunscreen with minimal white cast

Packaging: it has a sleek white and green color tube packaging with a shiny silver cap and it comes in a cartoon box. On its box you can find it's ingredient list and precautionary measures in English.

Texture: light,moist texture
Scent: light lemon oil scent
Color: opaque white

Thoughts: I appreciate much that Benton add the Papaya on this sun cream as it's main ingredient because I love the benefits of this fruit. The tube was sealed with a silver foil, and it needs to squeeze softly to dispense the product. It's doesn't feel sticky on my skin but there's a bit of greasy feel. It's light but you can still feel that your wearing one because it feels moist, which is pretty good as it moisturized my skin and it would be a plus factor too for those who had dry skin. It absorbs fast, leaves a minimal white cast only if you put on lots of the cream and also when you took a photo under a flash camera. But when you put just the right amount of the cream, the white cast is not really noticeable and aside from that this suncream gives me a glowy effect under the makeup. It blends nicely under my BB Cushion and also with my mineral powder foundation,I love it cause there's no patchy or cakey finish. However, about its scent, others may find it nice but this kind of scent is not my type. I love it if Benton adds up a bit of sweet notes on the lemon scent, its lightly scented tho and does not last long so I don't mind at all. Also,I noticed that I got minor breakouts on my cheeks and one on my forehead recently while started using this product, but I'm really not sure if it's this sun cream or my hormones are acting up. It's also the only new product that I currently incorporate in my skin routine. In my opinion this product is good as sun protection, moisturizer and whitening all in one packaging. Plus it's ingredients on it's list are nice, it's cruelty free and free from harmful ingredients.

I'm thankful to Benton for sending this product to me and for adding some samples too. You can visit there site here.

Cosrx Real Fit Vitamin Serums Review

Hey guys! I'm back with a review about Cosrx Real Fit Vitamin Serum. I received this products from the brand when I applied for the review program. What I have here are the Retinol (.5 Retinyl Palmitate) Serum, Vitamin C (23%) Serum and Vitamin E (20%) Serum. These serums are concentrated that's why its 20ml amount will goes a long way. The Vitamin C serum should be consume 2months after you open it while the Retinol and Vitamin E has 3months shelf life after opening. Thoughts: Retinol Serum Contains .05% Retinyl Palmitate and 72.5% Calendula Officinalis Extract, these are skin soothing, refining brightening and firming ingredients. It has a milky texture that slightly viscous, it absorbs quickly and feels good on skin. It has a faint scent that I think comes from the sunflower seed oil which is also one of its ingredient. It's my first time to try Retinol and I really feel a bit nervous and also excited about it. I use this serum for 2 weeks already at night time, I apply...
