Meet Dr. Wu| Taiwanese Skincare Brand

Taiwan's no.1 cosmeceutical brand is now in the Philippines. 💕

I feel so thrilled receiving an amazing package from Dr.Wu and it contains there best seller products to solve my skin problems.

Dr. Wu was founded by Dr Ying-Ching Wu, a renowned dermatologist in Taiwan with over 40 years of clinical experience. This brand focuses on five core values:

No additives, no alcohol, high grade actives and high safety levels.

I already using these products and here are my thoughts:

It's packaging are sleek and sturdy and looks really luxurious especially the toner.

Hyalucomplex Intensive Hydrating Essence Toner 150ml

P1600

A serum-like toning treatment that rehydrates and replenishes skin with moisture. The all new Hyalucomplex combining Sodium Hyaluronate, Hyalo-Oligo, Hyalufix GL and OptimHyal exhibits high water binding property and proves to be effective in facilitating hydration. It also contains Ceramela and amino acids complex, which reinforce the skin's natural protective barrier and restores skin's suppleness.

This toner has a viscous consistency and has no scent. It takes time to absorb on skin but when it absorbed, my skin feels really moist and bouncy. It's not sticky and not oily on skin. It is very hydrating and really a perfect prep before applying any treatment products.

Because it has Hyaluronic Acid, I find this toner a perfect match for retinol and mandelic acid. It is very soothing and very hydrating. So far I'm really loving this toner.

Intensive Hydrating Serum 15ml

P1700

This serum also contains Hyalucomplex, the same formula  as the toner. It has a thick gel-like consistency and also scent-free.

It gives a boost of hydration on skin, that I think dry skin types will also love. As I use acids and retinol all the time, this serum really helps to maintain the moisture on my skin and prevents it from drying and further irritation. This contains 15ml that only last on me for 2weeks, but they also have it in 30ml bottle. This serum is really good but I find it very expensive.

Mandelik Intensive Renewal Serum 15ml

P1609

With 18% mandelic acid, a revolutionary hope spa facial treatment to effectively clear blackheads and whiteheads, minimize pore size, prevent breakout, remove blemish and refine skin texture by resurfacing epidermis and  removing aged layers, hence achieving a smoother brighter and more radiant skin.

This is a special treatment that was advised to apply before toning and after cleansing and to use for only 2-3x a week at bedtime. At first use I was immediately amazed of its effect next in the morning. My skin looks glowing and it really feels smooth. I'm using  this serum once a week alternating with retinol and I really love the glowing effect that it gives on my skin. This serum is pretty amazing!

Final thoughts:

I find Dr. Wu products effective and really good for sensitive skin. However, the price range is something that I couldn't afford to buy but if you are willing to invest and spend your fortune to skincare products, I highly recommend the Mandelik Intensive Renewal Serum and the Hyalucomplex Intensive Hydrating Essence.

Cosrx Real Fit Vitamin Serums Review

Hey guys! I'm back with a review about Cosrx Real Fit Vitamin Serum. I received this products from the brand when I applied for the review program. What I have here are the Retinol (.5 Retinyl Palmitate) Serum, Vitamin C (23%) Serum and Vitamin E (20%) Serum. These serums are concentrated that's why its 20ml amount will goes a long way. The Vitamin C serum should be consume 2months after you open it while the Retinol and Vitamin E has 3months shelf life after opening. Thoughts: Retinol Serum Contains .05% Retinyl Palmitate and 72.5% Calendula Officinalis Extract, these are skin soothing, refining brightening and firming ingredients. It has a milky texture that slightly viscous, it absorbs quickly and feels good on skin. It has a faint scent that I think comes from the sunflower seed oil which is also one of its ingredient. It's my first time to try Retinol and I really feel a bit nervous and also excited about it. I use this serum for 2 weeks already at night time, I apply...
