Ellana Mineral Powder Foundation Sample Sets|Jurain's Review

Hi gals!have you tried Ellana Mineral Powder Foundation? As I visit there shopping page and registered. They email me about there free set samples so I immediately go to there website and grab one,but sad to say I need to pay P1 and there shipping fee of P135.I weighed my deciscion so much cause you know me I hate paying shipping fee to the fact that I love free shipping and always be free shipping.I asked my self is it worth my 136pesos?and I answer my thought "maybe yes, look its 11sets of samples and maybe the product is worth it".😃So I tap buy and choose COD.After several days it did arrive.I am not happy with the size cause it was in very small amount in a plastic reseal pouch. How I wish they make there samples larger in quantity. They have different types of mineral powder that suits every Pinay skins. And am very eager to try them.
These are the shades that I got.
And heres my swatches:

SHEER VELVET HD POWDER- Its a white fine textured powder good as finishing powder, mattifier and diffuses pores and wrinkles. It has a powdered sugar scent which makes me crave for choco crinkles.Yum!
SUPREME BLEND- Has a complete coverage, matte finish best for oily and acne prone skin.Functions as foundation, concealer, sun protection and oil control. Can be add to water or moisturizer to use as bb cream or liquid foundation.
I believe they have 5 shades available and I have here the three.

Which are:

  • RADIANT-for light warm tones.
  • SMILE-for medium light warm tones. My perfect skin match.
  • REVIVE-medium light cool tones.
INTENSIVE BLEND- has a medium to complete coverage.Matte finish for combination skin.Functions as foundation, concealer, sun protection and oil control. Can be add to water or moisturizer to use as bb cream or liquid foundation.

I think Ellana have 10 shades of this and they giving 7 free samples of shades which are:
  • CAFE BREVE-for fairly light warm tones.
  • FRENCH VANILLA LATTE-for light warm tones
  • HAZELNUT LATTE-for medium light warm tones. My closest match, for Intensive Blend though a little bit lighter.
  • CARAMEL LATTE-for medium warm tones.
  • CAFE MOCHA-for medium light olive tones.
  • CHAI TEA LATTE-for light cool tones.
  • ALMOND LATTE-for medium light cool tones.
Lets see the result on my skin:
Bare face:

With Intensive Blend Hazelnut Latte Shade:

Before putting the mineral powder foundation,I dab some Olay Total Effects Daycream and Ponds BB Cream.

With Supreme Blend Smile Shade:
One layer

2nd Layer
 With Sheer Velvet HD Powder

MY FINAL THOUGHTS
This Mineral Powders in sample sizes are good for 3-4 uses only. The sheer velvet HD powder is perfect to mattifies oily face I wonder if its made of cornstarch cause of its texture-very fine and gritty.
The Supreme Blend in Smile is the perfect match for my skintone,it does good in giving full coverage without being cakey, but its not natural looking either. You can tell that youre wearing a foundation. The Intensive blend in Hazelnut latte has a natural glowing coverage that I love it makes my face looks smooth and radiant it has a yellow undertone that suits most Pinay skin. Both the mineral powder foundation has a subtle to scent free scent. What I did not expect about this is it emphasizes my athropic acne scars,it smoothens my face its true and it also hides my dark spots well.I used powder brush when applying this powders,I didnt try to used this as wet application/liquid foundation.Maybe it minimizes the athropic acne scars if I use it as liquid foundation.
About the other light and dark shades powder I'll use them in contouring and blending. Will is it worth the money if you buy one?Definitely yes,try it if you love powder foundations. Its worth the hype!

Cosrx Real Fit Vitamin Serums Review

Hey guys! I'm back with a review about Cosrx Real Fit Vitamin Serum. I received this products from the brand when I applied for the review program. What I have here are the Retinol (.5 Retinyl Palmitate) Serum, Vitamin C (23%) Serum and Vitamin E (20%) Serum. These serums are concentrated that's why its 20ml amount will goes a long way. The Vitamin C serum should be consume 2months after you open it while the Retinol and Vitamin E has 3months shelf life after opening. Thoughts: Retinol Serum Contains .05% Retinyl Palmitate and 72.5% Calendula Officinalis Extract, these are skin soothing, refining brightening and firming ingredients. It has a milky texture that slightly viscous, it absorbs quickly and feels good on skin. It has a faint scent that I think comes from the sunflower seed oil which is also one of its ingredient. It's my first time to try Retinol and I really feel a bit nervous and also excited about it. I use this serum for 2 weeks already at night time, I apply...
