Hi lovelies, for today's review is about Fucoidan Peeling & Soothing Pad, the newest product of SOROCI.
I received this product from the brand for free on there tester recruitment event in exchange for an honest review.
This was my first time to try PHA product and I'm very much curious about this newest chemical exfoliants. I read that Polyhydroxy Acid/PHA is milder than AHAs and doesn't make skin sensitive to sun but still, I uses sunscreen to avoid those harmful UV rays. If you are sensitive to AHA's and BHA's, PHA has said to be safe for everyone includes sensitive skin.
Soroci focuses on letting your skin breathe with the slogan 'Cosmetics that allow your skin to breathe comfortably' and conducts research on cosmetics that improve your skin and life. There products are selected natural made ingredients that produces in small quantities that guarantees its quality and freshness.

KEY INGREDIENTS
Both contains Fucoidan component, a bio active polysaccharide that occurs naturally in brown seaweed. It functions to protect the plant from UV damage and water-borne pathogens. In skin care, it can impart similar benefits and more; including increasing skin elasticity, for anti-aging effects.
Peeling pads contains PHA that gently remove dead skin cells to allow your skin to appear smoother and more even in tone.
Soothing pads contains Propolis extract that helps in balancing, healing and soothing problematic skin. It also fights bacteria and has an anti-inflammatory effect.
DIRECTION
Swipe the embossing side across the face avoiding eye area after cleansing
Swipe the softer side across the face to pick up the remaining debris.
Close the lid tightly to keep the pads stay wet and clean after use.
* In the case of soothing pads, it can be used as a soothing mask sheet.
PACKAGING
I absolutely love its packaging, it's very simple but chic. Each box contains the set of peeling and soothing jar, the number 1 jar is for peeling and number 2 is for soothing. Each jar contains 35 pads and 80 ml of the essence. There's an inner lid inside to seal and prevent the pads from drying It comes with a mini plastic tweezers which is use to pick the pad hygienically. I like that the box contains complete English information which is really helpful to know more about the product.
SCENT & TEXTURE
Both products has an herbal citrus scent, the soothing pad has more of that strong citrus scent, while the peeling pad has a milder scent. Both are fully soaked with essences.

Soothing pad's texture is smooth and soft while the peeling pad has an embossed texture, even though it's embossed it doesn't feel rough and its comfortable when wiped on my skin.
MY THOUGHTS & REVIEW
This review would be more of my first impression about this product since the deadline is today and I received the product late because Post Office are closed due to long holiday (Holy Week). Been both using the peeling and soothing pad everyday for 4 days now, it is recommended to use the peeling pad in the morning to prep the skin before applying makeup and soothing pad at night to soothe and calm the skin at bed time but I used them in the opposite way. I always exfoliate at night so I use the peeling pad at night and soothing pad in the morning.
Soothing pad immediately hydrates my skin in the morning, I feel that my skin is plump after I apply this product. It calms my skin and the water and oil on its essence is just balanced perfect in the morning. My skin feels moist without grease and tacky feeling.
I have no issue using AHA's and BHA's but I do only use them 2-3x a week to prevent over exfoliation. But I am impressed by this peeling pad that contains PHA, as I use this every night and it still feels gentle on my skin. I didn't see any signs of over exfoliation such as redness or skin dryness. It also feels moisturizing, my skin is clear and it didn't break me out. I still get oily skin in the daytime, I'm not sure yet if it really works on sebum as I only use this for 4 days straight, I will update this post after 2 weeks if there's some noticeable changes on my skin.
Overall, these two pads are a perfect duo for daily use, it gently exfoliates my skin, soothes and moisturizes. I can recommend this product for those who are beginners in using chemical exfoliates and those who are sensitive to AHAs and BHAs. But for those who has a sensitivity to essential oils , this product is not for them as it's loaded with it.
