Benton Goodbye Redness Centella Mask Pack Review| New Product Alert

One of my favorite Korean beauty brand, Benton recently launched there newest product Goodbye Redness Centella Mask Pack. I applied on its review event and luckily I was one of the chosen reviewers who received this product in exchange for an honest review. Benton made this mask specially for those who has skin redness and skin irritation, sounds great! This mask will also prevent skin damage by actively soothes delicate skin because of its star ingredient Centella Asiatica, you know how much I love skin soothing masks so I really got excited to try it.

Skin redness is actually a sign for me to rest my skin from extensive exfoliating or stop myself from using a certain product that I use. Skin redness or rosacea may cause by sensitive skin, skin irritations, heat and other factors such as genes. I’m not a skin expert but in my own experience, it is important for us to know what causes our skin’s redness and should avoid the cause, to prevent it and to maintain a healthy and strong skin barrier.

"Take a Journey Back in Time with Benton"

Benton’ is inspired by and named after the movie ‘The Curious Case of Benjamin Button’ in which Benjamin Button grows younger with time. In the movie, Benjamin has no choice but to leave his love, Daisy, as he becomes younger. If Daisy could also turn back time of her physical appearance, wouldn’t she be happier? It may just be a fictional movie, but wouldn’t most people have the same desire to be young again? Benton desires to restore your skin back to its original healthy condition with healthy recipes, rather than to give temporary effects with harmful ingredients. Also, Benton presents freshly made products by sticking to small batch production.

According to Benton, they reduced purified water content on this mask pack to add more than 45% of fresh Centella Asiatica extracts. This enables instant hydration and soothes sensitive and itchy skin while nourishing the skin to maintain moisture. I noticed that Benton only put ingredients that your sensitive skin needs, mostly are soothing and hydrating ingredients. The mask pack is free of artificial fragrance, volatile alcohol, PEGS and any harmful ingredients and has a mildly acidic pH allowing stress-free application even for longer duration, dermatologist-tested and proven as irritant-free.

“Soaked with the ingredients derived from Centella Asiatica, Benton Good Bye Redness Centella Mask Pack hydrates and soothes irritated skin. This sheet mask helps to keep skin clear.”

Will this mask be the solution for skin redness? Will it be effective? Before I answer those questions, let’s tackle this mask’s key ingredients first.

Key Ingredients:

Centella Asiatica is also known as the tiger grass because it is said that tigers lie down on Centella Asiatica grass after getting wounded and their wounds would heal after being in contact with the grass. It is also known that the herb is used to cure skin diseases, used as remedies and medicinal plants in parts of India. Centella Asiatica is used as the main ingredient in many ointments because of its famous skin soothing and healing properties. The components of Centella Asiatica: madecassoid,
madecassic acid, asiaticoside and asiatic acid, commonly used in cosmetics, are effective for improving skin’s health and the protection of the skin.

Sodium Hyaluronate has hydrating properties which supply the skin with moisture absorbed from the air. It is an excellent natural moisturizer.

Benton Goodbye Redness Centella Mask Pack’s packaging look super cute and fancy, the scared red bump drawing with the speaker that shouts ‘Goodbye Redness’ looks very funny and made me laugh. This product contains 23g,also I appreciate much that the pouch has its usage direction and has its full ingredients. Like Benton’s other products this mask pack is also cruelty-free and GMP certified.

“The eco-friendly S-cell sheet has a tight and delicate fit even around the curves of the face effectively delivering the nutrients without discomfort. “

Out of the pocket. the thick cottony sheet mask feels so juicy with its non drippy essences. There’s no backings included with the mask but because it has a decent thickness, unfolding is just easy. The mask fit nicely on my face, and adheres well too. The essence doesn’t have any scent perfect for those who are sensitive to scent.

How to use:
After cleansing prepare face with skin toner.
Open packaging, and smooth mask onto face.
After 20-30minutes, remove mask and pat left over essence gently into skin.

After 20 minutes on my face, its time for me to remove the mask. There’s a lot of remaining essences on my face and also on the sheet mask, so I patted my face with my fingers gently to absorbed the essence. I also used the remaining essence on the sheet mask on my neck and arms.

I have pimples that’s reddish before I used this mask pack and I noticed that my pimples calmed down and the redness disappear, it’s amazing! Aside from that my face feels so bouncy and hydrated too. It didn’t brightened up my skin but my face looks more even-toned. It does what it promised, its totally legit on making skin redness disappear and it also soothed my skin. After a few minutes, the essence dried and leaves my skin cool and matte. Like Benton’s Aloe Soothing Mask Pack it also doesn’t feel greasy and not sticky to use, because I have an oily skin I prefer this type of mask that feels light but hydrating, it’s also perfect for daily use.

Full Ingredients: Centella Asiatica Leaf Water, Aqua (Water), Glycerin, Pentylene Glycol, Butylene Glycol, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Centella Asiatica Extract, Sodium Gluconate, Sodium Hyaluronate, Propanediol, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Asiatic Acid, Madecassic Acid, Asiaticoside, Madecassoside, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, Xanthan Gum, Cellulose Gum, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Hydrogenated phosphatidylcholine, 1,2-Hexanediol, Sucrose Stearate, Cetearyl Alcohol

Cosrx Real Fit Vitamin Serums Review

Hey guys! I'm back with a review about Cosrx Real Fit Vitamin Serum. I received this products from the brand when I applied for the review program. What I have here are the Retinol (.5 Retinyl Palmitate) Serum, Vitamin C (23%) Serum and Vitamin E (20%) Serum. These serums are concentrated that's why its 20ml amount will goes a long way. The Vitamin C serum should be consume 2months after you open it while the Retinol and Vitamin E has 3months shelf life after opening. Thoughts: Retinol Serum Contains .05% Retinyl Palmitate and 72.5% Calendula Officinalis Extract, these are skin soothing, refining brightening and firming ingredients. It has a milky texture that slightly viscous, it absorbs quickly and feels good on skin. It has a faint scent that I think comes from the sunflower seed oil which is also one of its ingredient.
