Time for me to share my review about this new brand- Flower and Spice , Karmen the founder of the brand sent me a set of her products all the way from Netherland for me to try. She studied organic skincare science in UK-based Formula Botanica and formulated Flower and Spice, reading her story about how she created Flower and Spice, her vision and how hands-on she was on this brand, I really can't help but to admire her passion and dedication to her brand.

Instant Glow Calming Exfoliator

To achieve that perfect glow, first you must exfoliate your skin. I do exfoliate my skin 2x a week if I am using a mechanical/manual exfoliator and 3x a week up to every other night when using a chemical exfoliator and depends on it's concentration. This product is a manual type so I only use this product 2x a week. The brand recommends it for all skin types but if you have a very sensitive skin with rosacea and atopic dermatitis you must avoid manual exfoliator. This product should be applied first on dry skin and gently massage your skin. After rinsing it out, I continue with my regular facial cleansing.

AHA Fruit Acids and Bamboo Buds work to enzymatically exfoliate dead cells, uncovering younger looking skin, reveal a smooth finish for instant glow.
Antioxidant rich Lavender oil and Fennel Seed work to increase circulation and prevent acne, leaving skin looking healthy and toned.
I noticed that there is an alcohol in this product, according to Karmen alcohol is a part of preservation system of AHA fruit acids which is the active ingredient of Instant Glow. I personally don't mind the alcohol on it as I will just wash-off the product.
The texture of this product is not as typical as your ordinary manual exfoliator, it's thick and creamy and has a yellowish color. It smells very lavender and feels gritty because of it's fine round beads that according to Karmen is the bamboo steam powder, unlike plastic beads that other companies are using, this is natural and safe for the environment.
Its been ages since I used a manual exfoliator, most of the time I use a chemical type like BHA and Glycolic Acid so that's why the beads feels too sharp for me, so I massaged my face lightly and it alleviates the sharpness. After rinsing my face feels so smooth and glowing.

Midnight Beauty Rich Revitalising Serum (30ml)

Next is this serum, which is Karmen's star product, Midnight Beauty. It's name is really has something and this product is loaded with anti-oxidants to restore your youthful glow. Two drops of this serum is enough to moisturized my face and neck, its super rich and I don't want to look like a grease ball at day that's why I only use this at bed time. But you can also use it at day or anytime that you want especially on drying cold days.
Key Ingredients:
Oils of Prickly Pear, Plum seeds, Jojoba, Apricot seed, Argan, Evening Primrose, Macadamia and Apricot seeds hydrate to refine skin texture and deliver a powerful blend of antioxidants that prevent signs of aging from sun exposure.
Sacha Inchi is rich with unsaturated fatty acids and highest level of Vitamin E will improve and protect skin's elasticity.
This serum has a super rich, oil-like consistency that has a yellowish tint. It's scent is invigorating, more of earthy, nutty, and fresh herbs scent. This is more moisturizing than the Soothe and Repair, whenever I just feel lazy I only toned my skin and use this serum alone without anything and I still woke up with bouncy and moisturized skin.
I've been using this serum for 3 weeks now at night and my skin look more even toned and elastic. The only thing is that I always woke up with an oily face, but it's okay because when I washed it off, it reveals my supple skin.

Soothe and Repair Daily Moisturiser

Last, is the moisturizer, a sample size of this product last on me for 5-8 days and I have five of this-lovely! I only need a small amount of this product for my whole face and neck, it can be use whenever you need, morning and night but I prefer to use it only on my night ritual because I want it to last long.
Key ingredients:
Rose Absolute that according to the brand was harvested from a full bloom regal flower not just with an elegant appearance and rich fragrant it has also a calming and soothing properties. Rose Absolute is also good for cystic acnes because of its anti-inflammatory effect, anti-viral and also anti-bacterial property.
Coriander Seed Oil is rich in nutrients and alleviates skin irritations, not just that it can also promote blood circulation when massage into skin.
Jojoba Oil according to Flower and Spice closely resembles are skin's natural sebum, it will instantly moisturize and nourish your thirsty skin.
Prickly Pear Seed Oil, a precious and rare ingredient is rich in antioxidant, combats environmental stressors and encourages cell renewal.
Aloe Vera and Rose Water that calms skin inflammation with its cooling effect, leaving skin silky soft and glowing.
Artic Oat Extract that regenerates the skin, adds an extra boost of smoothness and tranquility.
This cream has a rich texture, I thought that it would not be suitable for my oily skin because I always experience break outs with rich moisturizers but I was so wrong it didn't break me out! It feels like a blanket on my skin, it's highly moisturizing and surprisingly doesn't feel heavy. It's scent is heavenly too, almost same as the midnight beauty but this has more of floral notes,the scent of coriander, rose and other ingredients blends nicely, feels so relaxing and invigorating.
For more than a month of using this Soothe and Repair Daily Moisturiser, I always woke up with a soft and moisturized skin. I super love this cream and it's actually my most favorite among the Flower and Spice products, the only thing is I just can't afford to buy this because it's expensive. But I can see myself buying this again in the future if ever this product is on sale.

Final Verdict:
My current night ritual becomes lovely and simple with Flower and Spice. I only use Instant Glow twice a week, double cleansing, toning with my favorite toner, Midnight Beauty serum and some Soothe and Repair Moisturiser. I've been hooked with this product since I started using it, you can't blame me because it smells like a piece of heaven and my sleep becomes so tranquil with this products. To be honest I never been so excited to do my night ritual as this before. The only thing is that I couldn't afford this luxurious night ritual because it really is expensive,so I guess I need to savor this moment until all my Flower and Spice last.Thank you for reading and I hope to see you again on my next post.
