Althea Pore Purifying Serum Cleanser Review


Hi lovelies, today's review will be about Althea's newest product Pore Purifying Serum Cleanser. I feel happy and proud seeing Althea grows, they just amazingly launched new four products including this cleanser  and now there's  a new makeup line coming up too which feels very exciting! Althea sent this to me last December along with Althea x Titi Kamal Stay Fresh Body Sparkling Mist that I also love to use everyday. I'm using this Pore Purifying Serum Cleanser for more than 3 weeks and now it's time for me to share what I think about this cleanser.

First, let's start with the product description:
According to Althea, Pore Purifying Serum Cleanser is a combination of the powers of cleanser and serum to whisk away makeup, dirt and oil with mint extracts while ensuring the skin stays cool and hydrated through out the day. Thanks to dual moisture cell system that envelopes the skin in a serum like formula, it prevents the skin from drying out and effectively minimizes enlarged pores, keeping it smooth to the touch. This product also helps to balance the pH levels of the skin to keep it working in tip-top shape. Best of all, it is gentle on the face and suitable even for sensitive skin.

Key ingredients of this product are mint, jojoba and tea tree. Mint leaf extract cools down the skin and soothes irritations. Jojoba seed oil deeply moisturizes any dryness without feeling heavy.  And Tea tree leaf extract has antibacterial properties that purify the skin.

How to use: Dampen the skin and apply in small amount. Gently massage onto the skin in circular motions for 5-10 seconds before rinsing off with water.


Review:
I was very intrigued about Althea Pore Purifying Serum Cleanser because of  it's innovative formula, it's the first time that I heard this kind of product that's why I really looked forward to try this product during it's launch. And now that I tried it, I have a total of three of these in my stash now that's how I love this cleanser.

I like it's packaging that's beautiful and minimalist in transparent cool blue color bottle, it also reminds me of Althea, this brand is transparent on there consumers, no frills just high quality, innovative and affordable products. Do you agree with me?
The serum cleanser has a fresh light scent and has a runny, serum like texture, it feels so nice on my skin and comfy to use, doesn't feel greasy or sticky at all.

Althea Pore Purifying Serum Cleanser can be use alone as a makeup remover and second cleanser at the same time, it means that you don't need to double cleanse with this product. But if you are wearing heavy makeup or still feel to use another second cleanser then you can. As for me, who's only using bb cushion or sometimes long lasting foundation, eyeshadow, blusher and lipstick as for my everyday makeup look and I noticed that using this cleanser alone effectively removes everything on my face but I still prefer to follow it up with  Althea Real Fresh Skin Detoxer in Rose , these two products are great match to clean you skin thoroughly without dryness. I also use Pore Purifying Serum cleanser in my morning routine, and this cleanser feels very gentle to use, there's no dryness or stripped of moisture, to be honest it's just like serum that gives a hydrating effect each time that I used this product.


As you can see in the makeup swatch test that I performed, Pore Purifying Serum Cleanser easily and effectively removes waterproof and budge proof  Pixi mascara and eyeliner, Estee Lauder lipstick and Peripera Ink Velvet tint that even oil cleansers makes it difficult to remove them.
It also didn't emulsify and doesn't bubbles when mixed with water but I can see that it melts my makeup easily and doesn't leave any residue on my skin. Another thing is that this product is eye friendly, doesn't sting or blurs my vision.
Overall Pore Purifying Serum Cleanser impressed me a lot! This product is so amazing and I highly recommend this product to everyone.
